Favorite Finds of 2011

Hey everyone! You've got the complete and total package of Crazy Cooking Couple goodness today! Both of us! Yayyy We wanted to put our heads and hearts together and write an end of year blog for you guys so here ya go

As you know, this year is going... going... going to be gone before we know it! Not sure about you all but we love to take the end of the year to reflect on all the great things that this year has brought.
This Crazy Cooking Couple has done a lot of great things such as starting this blog and sharing with you all the great things that we are whipping up in the kitchen. This year as we looked back we thought about all of our favorite food finds of this year! There were so many of them! But we wanted to share a few of our favorite finds so you can find them too and start the New Year off on the right foot!

Favorite Finds
1. Glenny's Soy Crisps

Glenny are awesome. They are crunchy crisps packed with protein (9g per serving) in a bunch of different flavors. BBQ is our favorite for sure. You can find them at organic markets and order them online.

2. Justin's Nut Butter

Justin's Nut Butter is a definite way to jazz up the usual PB &J. They have peanut butter and almond butters and even have different flavors of each. Chocolate peanut butter, honey peanut butter, maple almond butter. So many choices its hard to choice. Great creamy organic nut butters. :)
3. Gluntino's Pizza

Gluten free find! Gluntino's little personal pizza are the bomb! Our only wish is that they didn't have to be made in the oven. Jen loves Spinach & Feta while Ziggy opts for plain 'ol cheese. Either way you cannot go wrong! Find it in the freezer section of organic markets!

4. Wholly Guacamole Spicy

We've said it before and we will say it again. Eat Wholly! has some AMAZING spicy guac! We put it on everything! Check out our Great Guac-dini burger. Or use it as a dip with chips, in tacos or where ever else you want a little creamy kick!

100 calories and so many choices! Favorite of all time is the Mint Chocolate. Deep chocolate, Fudgy PB are all solid choices but you really cannot go wrong not matter your choice. Some you can only order online but well worth it! Check our review for more details

6. Artic Zero Ice Cream Replacement

So technically not ice cream. It's a whey protein ice  cream replacement and does not have the same consistency of ice cream so don't expect that. But still so good. Lots of flavors but we love Touch of Maple and PB Chocolate. A whole PINT is 150 calories and packed with 14g of protein, 8g of fiber and is fat and gluten free!  Indulge with peace of mind.

Oh Torani SF syrups how we cannot get enough of you. Seriously, there is like 30 flavors from vanilla and chocolate to gingerbread, salted caramel, and brown sugar cinnamon. You can add them to coffe, stirred into Greek Yogurt or added in as an "extract" to flavor up your baking and/or cooking.

Turkey Perky Jerky.  Fun to say, more fun to eat! It was never easier to eat and look like a trucker haha just kidding. You can pick this up at Target in a 2 oz pack or order it online. We really love this as a quick munch on the go. Get your protein in and keep it moving that is what we say!

Aunt Jemima is synonymous with fatty mcfat fat stuff right? Well not any more! At least not with this pancakes! You can nuke them in the microwave, place them in the toaster or the toaster oven for a yummy breakfast! 3 decent size pancakes for 200 calories is a steal. Top them with some Reddi-whip and fruit and side it so Greek yogurt and you have a great nutritious, scrumptious b-fast real fast!

These preserves are amazing. 10 calories for 1 tablespoon of preserve goodness. There are lots of flavor choices like apricot, blueberry, strawberry we are just drooling thinking about it. Place these on some pancakes, toast, english muffins or even use it to make apricot chicken. You cannot go wrong with these great preserves. Tasty and low calorie way to add a little flavor in your day ; - D

Hope you guys like our list of 2011 Favorite Finds. Did you find anything good this year? If so, what we are are always have our eye peeled for awesome new finds!
