What I Ate Weduesday


Jen works tonight so that means you get to put up with the better half of the Crazy Cooking Couple! Just kidding Jen! She is going to kill me when she sees that. So if you never hear anything else from me you know why! haha But it is Wednesday so you already know what is going on in the blogger world. What I Ate Wednesday madness! 

Yea I know that everyone calls it a "party" but that just makes is sound like a tea party or something and to make it a bit more manly I decided that WIAW madness works too. 

 So the premise of this idea?? 

Each Wednesday on youtube Jen will show you 3 "best of" meals that we had during some point this week. It will always be a 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner and maybe sometimes a snack or desert! You will VOTE all week long under that video for what recipe you want to see right here on the blog. Plus she will throw in a few other yummys for you too!

So.... the winner this week is:

Smokey Mustard Salmon

Non-Food Items

Baking Sheet
Aluminum foil
Non-stick Spray
Small Bowl
Spoon

Food Items
(makes 2 servings) 

1.5 T Dijon Mustard
0.5 T Sugar Free Pancake Syrup
1/8 tsp. Smoked Paprika
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
2 4oz Wild Salmon Fillets

Directions

Only 7 easy steps til your enjoying this!

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Line baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray then set aside.
  3. Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl and mix well.
  4. Place salmon fillets on baking sheet.
  5. Dived the mustard mixture and then evenly spread it on the salmon.
  6. Bake til fillets cooked throughly about 10 minutes. 
  7. ENJOY!
